Fighting for Stronger Communities, Economic Opportunity, and Accountable Leadership.
Adlah Donestrog Jr.
I was born and raised in the Virgin Islands, and my connection to this community has shaped my entire career. I entered public service because I believed that leadership should reflect the voices and needs of the people.
Throughout my career, I have worked to promote economic opportunity, responsible governance, and policies that improve quality of life for residents across our islands.
Serving our community has never been about politics alone — it has always been about people.
Early Life
I was born and raised in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, a place that shaped my values, my sense of community, and my dedication to service.
Growing up in the islands taught me the importance of resilience, hard work, and respect for community. Those early experiences inspired my desire to contribute to the development of the Virgin Islands and to help create opportunities for future generations.
I pursued higher education to better prepare myself for leadership and public service, earning a Master of Public Administration, along with professional certification in City Management. These experiences helped strengthen my understanding of governance, public policy, and the responsibilities that come with serving the public.
“ To ignite others, you must first burn with purpose ”

The Dream is Not History—It’s Our Homework.
Today we pause to honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.. He was more than a historical figure—he was a moral voice who led a nation to confront injustice through courage, faith, and the power of nonviolence.
His dream—that people be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character—remains a powerful challenge to each generation.
Honoring Dr. King is not only about remembering his words, but about continuing the work of justice, equality, and unity. The dream lives on through the actions we take today.
